We had thrown three birthday parties for Janie so far (well, she is 3 now!) and each experience has been remarkable! I enjoy getting all of our family friends and children together. The most excitement of these get-together is to witness the growth of all the kids and not just Janie's. I will write a series for the parties that I have thrown so far. Hopefully, there will be so many more in the future!
Janie's first birthday party was held at the MGM Grand in Macau. It took place at the Rossio restaurant. The venue was quite nice and the food was amazing! The restaurant served only buffet with lots of fresh seafood. Janie and I actually didn't get to eat much since we were basically greeting all of our guests all night.
The theme of her party was Royal Princess with just a hint of Hello Kitty decorations. We had a 3-tier cake because we had a lot of family friends and my classmates who came all the way from Hong Kong!
I dressed Janie up in a purple outfit because her Chinese name is ç´« æ™´ which translate to purple and sunny. Her outfit was from Baby Depot, mine was from a boutique store in Hong Kong, and Daddy's outfit was from A Bathing Ape.
Janie has three godmothers and they all came. We had a really wonderful time over that weekend in Macau! I hope that we get to travel together again.
